Amitabh Bachchan revealed that he suffered a knee injury while shooting the latest episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 18,’ writes Indian Express.
The veteran actor said he slipped and fell during the previous day’s shoot, injuring his left knee. He usually delivers his opening monologue while standing, but chose to sit because he was finding it difficult to remain on his feet.
Bachchan assured viewers that the injury was not serious and said he would stand while hosting the contestants.
The episode also featured rollover contestant Shourjya Das, who reached the ₹25 lakh question before quitting on the ₹50 lakh question.
She was asked which national capital was designed by the architect who also designed a library at Lucknow University in the 1930s.
The correct answer was Canberra, designed by Walter Burley Griffin. Das later guessed Canberra correctly but left with ₹25 lakh.
Das said she is preparing for State PSC exams and hopes to become a Block Development Officer.
