Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) PLC’s consolidated earnings per share fell 7.5 per cent in the first half of 2026, while net operating cash flow per share surged more than 11-fold from a year earlier.
The bank reported consolidated EPS of Tk0.99 for January–June, compared with a restated Tk1.07 in the same period of 2025.
In contrast, consolidated net operating cash flow per share rose to Tk54.77 from Tk4.72 a year earlier.
The bank’s consolidated net asset value per share stood at Tk28.16 as of 30 June, marginally higher than the restated Tk28.11 as of 31 December 2025.
The board approved the interim audited financial statements for the six months ended 30 June at its 338th meeting on 30 September in connection with the issuance of a Tk500 crore subordinated bond.
Mutual Trust Bank shares, with a face value of Tk10, closed unchanged at Tk13.50 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Thursday.
