Pubali Bank PLC has received the Gold Award for Branding from the Centre for Non Resident Bangladeshi for its contribution to foreign remittance collection, the bank said in a press release.
The award was presented at the “Branding Bangladesh” ceremony held at a hotel in Dhaka, organised by the Centre for NRB.
Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali accepted the award on behalf of the bank from Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam and State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Md Nurul Hoque attended the event as special guests.
Foundation for Strategic and Development Studies Chairman Major General Retd Fazle Elahi Akbar and Award Committee Chairman Ishtiaq Ahmed Chowdhury were also present.
The ceremony was presided over by Centre for NRB Chairperson Shekil Chowdhury.
