Pubali Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with ACI Logistics Limited, the operator of retail chain Swapno, to collaborate on customer service development, marketing innovation, e-commerce integration and co-branded campaigns.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the banking and retail sectors through joint initiatives, the bank said in a press release.
Pubali Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali attended the signing as chief guest, while ACI Logistics Managing Director Sabbir Hasan Nasir was a guest of honour.
Pubali Bank Deputy Managing Director Md Shahnewaz Khan and ACI Logistics Director of Treasury Finance and Planning Abu Hasan Zaman attended as special guests.
AKM Abdur Rakib, general manager and regional head of the bank’s operations in Dhaka North; Md Shaheen Shahria, general manager of the Mohakhali corporate branch; Md Rabiul Alam, deputy general manager and head of the alternative delivery channel division; Nigar Sultana, deputy general manager of the Dhanmondi branch; and Md Moniruzzaman, deputy general manager of the Gulshan-1 corporate branch; were also present.
Assistant General Manager Md Mizanur Rahman, other senior executives, customers and well-wishers from both organisations also attended.
“This MoU will open new horizons for long-term cooperation between the two institutions,” said Pubali Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali.
“It will be possible to jointly build a strong value chain by improving customer service and providing innovative banking facilities,” he added. “This partnership will ensure more modern services for customers through marketing innovation, improved e-commerce integration and co-branded initiatives.”
