Standard Islami Bank PLC (SIBPLC) cardholders can now avail discounts of up to 50 per cent when booking accommodation at the Best Western Heritage in Cox’s Bazar.
Officials of the shariah-compliant lender and five-star rated 13-storey luxury hotel recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this end at the bank’s head office in Dhaka, according to a press release.
The bank said the agreement aims to make recreational travel more affordable and convenient for its customers.
Acting Managing Director Md Siddiqur Rahman signed on behalf of Standard Islami Bank, while Head of Sales and Marketing Md Shamim Hasan signed for Best Western Heritage.
Other senior executives from both organisations were, among others, present on the occasion, it said.
