BRAC Bank has appointed Nazmul Ahsan as Head of Treasury with effect from March 1, 2026, the bank said.
Nazmul joined BRAC Bank in November 2024 as Head of Markets and has more than 17 years of experience across treasury functions.
Before joining BRAC Bank, he served in key positions at Midland Bank and Eastern Bank, where he built experience in strategic execution and governance alignment.
Nazmul is a Chartered Financial Analyst from CFA Institute, USA, and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Dhaka.
Managing Director and CEO Tareq Refat Ullah Khan said Nazmul’s industry knowledge and leadership would strengthen the bank’s treasury, asset and liability management and wealth management functions.
“He will play an important role in advancing the bank’s journey to become a trusted, innovative and inclusive bank in Bangladesh,” he said.
