Pubali Bank PLC inaugurated a new “SUST Electronic Banking Booth” and handed over two student buses to Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet on Monday. The initiatives aim to expand modern banking facilities and improve student transportation on campus.
Vice Chancellor Professor AM Sarwaruddin Chowdhury attended as Chief Guest. Pubali Bank Directors Rumana Sharif and Rana Laila Hafiz, and Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali were also present.
Mohammad Ali said the initiatives reflect Pubali Bank’s commitment to education, technological advancement, and social responsibility. The bank will continue supporting institutions with modern facilities and sustainable development initiatives.
Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Md Shajedul Karim, Treasurer Professor Md Ismail Hossain, Registrar Sayed Salim Md. Abdul Quadir, and GM Chowdhury Md Shofiul Hassan attended as special guests. The event was presided over by Transport Administrator Professor AM Zakaria.
