Pubali Bank PLC held its 2nd Business Conference‑2026 for regional and corporate branch managers on Thursday at the bank’s head office auditorium in Dhaka, with Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Ali in attendance as chief guest, according to a press release. Also present were all regional managers, corporate branch managers, division heads and executives.
Deputy managing directors Mohammad Esha, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Ahmed Enayet Manzur, Md Shahnewaz Khan and Mohammad Anisuzzaman attended as special guests, while Md Faizul Hoque Sharif, general manager of the general banking and operations division, presided over the conference. Said in a press release, 50 of the bank’s best‑performing managers were recognised for outstanding performance in 2025.
In his address, Mohammad Ali emphasised the imperative for the banking sector to accelerate economic activity amid current global economic conditions. He called for teamwork grounded in honesty, dedication and efficiency, and highlighted business acquisition and analysis as focal areas for growth.
