The second season of the acclaimed web series ‘Chokro’ is set to premiere on the OTT platform iScreen this Eid-ul-Fitr. Following the success of the first season, producer Vicky Zahed is back with a new instalment, promising a psychological thriller filled with intrigue, suspense and mind-bending illusions.
‘Chokro 2’ builds on a strange psychological puzzle inspired by the controversial Adam family incident of 2007. The series explores the concept of “shared hallucination” or collective illusion, adding a new dimension to the story.

Lux star Azmeri Haque Badhon will portray a mysterious character. In a social media post, she said, “The devil seeks a happy family. And when that devil takes the form of the closest person, there is no way to escape.” She also teased the question of what truth lies behind the cursed Adam family of Mymensingh.
The new season picks up from the suspenseful ending of the first series. Badhan explained that the story begins a new psychological game, asking whether the horrors are merely a shared hallucination or if a more terrifying reality lurks beneath.
The first-look poster of Chokro 2 has already sparked discussion online. It features actor Tausif Mahbub standing bloodied and shirtless, holding a machete. Some viewers speculated that the image was created using artificial intelligence, but Tausif Mahbub clarified that all visuals are real. He underwent extensive preparation for the role, including months of gym training and a strict diet.
Tausif returns as Humayun, but this season explores new facets of the character. He described the challenge of portraying the differences in Humayun’s mindset and experiences from four years ago to the present.
