Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) and its Business Society, organised a seminar titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its ‘PrimeAcademia’ initiative recently.
The programme highlighted industry–academia collaboration and the bank’s focus on financial inclusion and youth engagement, said in a press release.
Senior Vice President and Head of Financial Inclusion and School Banking at Prime Bank M M Mahbub Hasan spoke on financial inclusion, financial literacy and money management, saying these are key to long-term personal and professional development.
Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Branches Distribution Network at Prime Bank Md Imran Hossain delivered a session on career development and corporate readiness.
Pro Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT M Mahmudur Rahman attended as chief guest and stressed the importance of industry–academia collaboration. Associate Professor and BBA Coordinator of IUBAT Business School Hasanuzzaman Tushar was also present.
Students and faculty participated in the seminar, which focused on financial inclusion and career preparation.
