President Mohammed Shahabuddin returned home on Monday morning after completing follow-up treatment and health examinations in London.

The president’s Press Secretary Sarwar Alam confirmed his arrival in Dhaka.

During a routine medical check-up in United Kingdom, a significant block was detected in the president’s heart, which prompted an immediate angioplasty and the placement of a stent. The procedure was performed on Tuesday afternoon at the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge.
