Premier Bank PLC, in collaboration with Omnicare, recently organised a special health awareness session for its female employees at the Learning & Talent Development Centre of the bank’s head office.
According to the press release, the initiative was designed to emphasise women’s physical and mental well-being and to recognise their valuable contributions in the workplace.
The session was attended by Premier Bank PLC Managing Director Md Monzur Mofiz, Deputy Managing Director Niamat Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director Amalendu Roy, VP and Head of Human Resources (In-Charge) Moinul Huq Shiraze.
Syeda Noureen Binte Naquib, SAVP of the bank’s Learning & Talent Development Centre, moderated the programme.
In his address, Managing Director highlighted the significant role women play across families, communities, and society as a whole. He stated that ensuring the well-being, safety, and empowerment of women is fundamental to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive workplace culture.
The session featured expert insights from Omnicare Assistant Professor and Psychiatrist Dr Refat Uz Johra, who discussed mental well-being, stress management, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Additionally, Omnicare Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist Dr Sain Faria Setu shared valuable information on women’s reproductive health, the importance of regular health check-ups, and adopting a health-conscious lifestyle.
Female employees of Premier Bank actively participated in the interactive session, which provided an engaging platform for learning, awareness, and open discussion on key health and wellness issues affecting women.
