The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has announced the dates for its upcoming awards ceremonies in 2027 and 2028. The 2027 PGA Awards will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2027, while the 2028 ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 19, 2028.
The 2027 event coincides with the final round of Oscars voting, which runs from February 25 to March 4, 2027, potentially influencing the Academy’s selections. The PGA remains the only major awards body aside from the Oscars to use a preferential ballot to determine winners.
Key dates for the 2025–2026 awards season have also been released. The eligibility period for theatrical, animated and documentary films, as well as television and streaming content, runs from January 1 to December 31.
Documentary and innovation award submissions close on August 28 and October 1, respectively, while theatrical and animated film submissions are due by October 9.
Nomination polls open from late November to December 21, with nominees announced between December 8 and January 8, 2027. Final voting concludes on February 19, 2027. Dates for East and West Coast celebrations of the 2027 nominees and producing teams will be announced later.
