The new season of the much-talked-about web series ‘Paap Kahini 2’ has officially arrived on OTT platform iScreen, with the first episode released on Thursday at 3 pm. A teaser had dropped a day earlier on the platform’s YouTube channel, building anticipation for the new instalment.
The 37-second teaser opened with a cautionary message advising viewers that the content is intended for adults, followed by a series of moody, dialogue-free visuals set to background music.
Produced by Shahriar Nazim Joy, the series continues the thematic tone of its predecessor, which gained attention for its portrayal of complex human relationships. The new season once again explores themes of love, infidelity, betrayal and revenge.
Structured as an anthology of four separate stories, Paap Kahini 2 delves into emotional conflict, moral ambiguity and the darker sides of relationships, with each episode focusing on different characters and situations. The first story has now been released, with the remaining episodes expected to follow soon.
Speaking about the project, Joy described the series as a reflection of real-life emotional breakdowns and psychological tension, noting that each segment presents distinct narratives shaped by different social contexts.
The cast includes Runa Khan, Kusum Sikder, Ashna Habib Bhabna, Farin Khan, Shahriar Nazim Joy and Imtiaz Barshan, among others.
