One person has died from dengue and 110 new patients have been admitted to hospitals across the country in the 24 hours till Monday morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest fatality was reported from the Khulna City Corporation area, raising the nationwide dengue death toll to six so far this year.
DGHS data showed that the fresh hospital admissions have pushed the total number of dengue cases recorded in 2026 to 3,307.
Health authorities also reported that men account for the majority of infections this year, comprising 62.6 per cent of all reported cases, while women represent 37.4 per cent.
The latest figures come as health officials continue to monitor the mosquito-borne disease ahead of the peak monsoon season, when dengue infections typically rise.
According to DGHS records, Bangladesh recorded 102,861 dengue cases and 413 dengue-related deaths in 2025, underscoring the continuing public health challenge posed by the disease.
