A man was killed, and three others were injured in a clash between two rival groups over establishing supremacy in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria.
Shipon Mia, 30, died while undergoing treatment at a Dhaka hospital on Sunday morning. The injured have been currently admitted to the hospital.
The clash took place on Saturday night at Barikandi Gani Shah Mazar Bazar under Barikandi union in Nabinagar.
On information, Additional Superintendent of Police (Nabinagar Circle) Piyas Basak and Nabinagar Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Shahinur Islam visited the scene.
Confirming the incident, Nabinagar Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Shahinur Islam said, “Additional police personnel have been deployed in the area. The situation is now under control, and drives are underway to arrest those involved in the incident.”
