Uncertainty over ongoing discussions regarding the unequal war imposed on Iran by Israel and the United States, along with concerns over supply disruptions, oil prices have risen by nearly 5 percent.
Currently, the price of Brent crude oil stands at $107 per barrel, Middle East Eye reports. Brent crude had fallen more than 2 percent the previous day.
Earlier, fuel oil prices saw a fresh increase on Thursday amid the ongoing joint US-Israeli aggression on Iran as traders assess the prospects of a ceasefire in the Middle East, though Iran has continued to assert that it has no plans for negotiations.
Prices are especially volatile after additional supply disruptions from Russia and the Persian Gulf region, creating added pressure on the global energy market.
