NRB Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Ascent Health Limited offering up to 30 per cent discounts on pathological tests for its credit cardholders and employees, the bank said on 22 February 2026.
The agreement was signed at the bank’s corporate head office in Gulshan-1, Dhaka.
NRB Bank Managing Director and CEO Tarek Reaz Khan and Ascent Health Chief Executive Officer Anwarul Iqbal signed on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the arrangement, discounts will apply to samples collected at home or at consultation chambers.
Cardholders and employees will also access specialised consultations in internal medicine, respiratory medicine, rheumatology, dermatology, nephrology, neurology, gynaecology and paediatrics.
A designated contact person will be assigned to ensure service support alongside standard call centre facilities.
NRB Bank Deputy Managing Director Md Shaheen Howlader, Head of Branch Banking Division Md Towfiqul Alam Chowdhury, Head of Retail Banking Md Rezaul Shahriar, Head of Cards Khaja Wasiullah and Head of Strategic Alliance Md Shafiqul Hassan attended.
Ascent Group Director, Business Development Amer Ahmed and Ascent Health Chief Operating Officer Md Ronald Micky Gomez were also present.
