Love does not follow any fixed rules or familiar patterns. It can appear unexpectedly at any point in life, even in the most unusual circumstances. Exploring such an unconventional yet heartfelt romance is the special telefilm Ebhabei Prem Ashe.
The telefilm has been directed by noted television filmmaker Sanzid Khan Prince, with a screenplay and dialogues by Parvez Imam. Promising newcomers Prantar Dastider and Nusrat Afrin Yumna play the lead roles.
The central attraction of the telefilm is its simple yet profound, life-oriented story. It portrays how two people gradually grow closer amid the pressures, conflicts and misunderstandings of contemporary urban life.
“We often see a particular kind of romantic story, but this one is quite different. Viewers will see an unusual blend of love and real-life experiences,” said director Sanzid Khan Prince.
Yumna is also excited about the project.
“My character is somewhat comedic, serious, stubborn and romantic at the same time. I have never played a serious-comedy character before, so I am really excited. The story is quite extensive and full of twists and turns. Viewers will see several shades of the same character,” she said.
“I believe audiences will enjoy it. They will laugh, but they will also be able to feel the romantic aspects of the story,” she added.
Besides Prantar Dastider and Yumna, the cast includes Azam Khan, Siam Nasir, Harun Rashid Bunty, Jas Mannat, Md Anwar Hossain and child artiste Ayat. According to the director, every character has its own importance in the story.
The telefilm was shot at several scenic locations in Dhaka. The director and cast are hopeful about the project, while the entire team believes the on-screen chemistry between Prantor and Yumna will keep audiences engaged.
Ebhabei Prem Ashe will be available soon on a private television channel and later on an OTT platform.
