The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has advised candidates selected under the Government Primary School Assistant Teacher Recruitment-2025 not to fall prey to misleading rumours and misinformation currently circulating across news and social media channels regarding the issuance of appointment letters.
The official call for calm came during a review meeting held on Saturday at the ministry’s conference room in Dhaka, chaired by ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon, minister for Education and Primary and Mass Education.
Addressing widespread anxieties among job seekers, ministry officials clarified that background verification and security vetting are standard, mandatory procedures across all government recruitment drives, and assured that the process remains on track.
The ministry pledged that if any successful candidate fails to receive their appointment letter by 1 October 2026, their case will undergo an immediate and thorough review, with letters issued to eligible individuals in phased batches as swiftly as possible.
Ehsanul Hoque Milon urged all stakeholders, newly appointed educators, and officials to work with utmost responsibility to elevate the national learning environment, nurture student talent, and drive quality primary education forward.
The meeting was attended by Primary and Mass Education Secretary Jesmin Nahar, Additional Secretaries Monowara Ishrat and Mokhlesur Rahman, and Directorate of Primary Education Director General Shaheena Ferdous.
