Newly appointed officers-in-charge (OCs) have officially assumed duties at all nine police stations in Cox’s Bazar district.
They took charge on Monday during a views-exchange meeting held at the Superintendent of Police (SP) office conference room, presided over by SP ANM Sajedur Rahman.
Addressing the officers, the SP urged them to carry out their responsibilities with integrity, dedication, and professionalism while serving the public.
According to Additional SP and district police spokesperson Alok Biswas, the officers will report to their respective stations and formally join their duties by Monday evening.
The newly appointed OCs are Nur Mohammad (Ukhiya), Mahbubul Haq (Kutubdia), Monirul Islam Bhuiya (Ramu), ATM Shifatul Majumdar (Eidgaon), Mohammad Monir Hossain (Chakaria), Mohammad Saiful Islam (Teknaf), Mohammad Mojibur Rahman (Maheshkhali), Mohammad Khairul Alam (Pekua), and Mohammad Chomi Uddin (Cox’s Bazar Sadar).
Senior officials, including ASP (Administration and Finance) Najmus Sakib Khan and ASP (Crime and OPS) Mohammad Sameem Kabir, attended the meeting.
