National Citizen Party (NCP) leaders went to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Sunday night to see Gono Odhikar Parishad President and former Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur, who is undergoing treatment there.
The delegation, led by NCP Convener Nahid Islam, visited Nur around 11:30 pm shortly after their return from a trip to Japan. Nahid was busy in Bangladesh and Sarjis Alam led the Japan delegation.
Speaking at the hospital, Nahid Islam said, “No evil force will be allowed to prevail. The country will undergo reforms, a new constitution, and elections. No conspiracy will work, and for that, unity is essential.” He strongly condemned and protested the attack on Nur.
