NCC Bank organised a mental health awareness workshop for women employees at its head office, focusing on stress management, emotional resilience and work-life balance as part of efforts to promote a supportive workplace, the bank said in a press release.

Titled “Mind Matters: Workplace Mental Health Talk for Women,” the session brought together 142 women officials in person, while female employees from branches nationwide joined virtually, reflecting growing attention to workplace mental health amid changing work dynamics.

BIRDEM General Hospital and Ibrahim Medical College Associate Professor and Head of Psychiatry Dr Nasim Jahan conducted the session.

She presented on workplace mental health challenges and introduced internationally recognised assessment tools such as the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale DASS and the Patient Health Questionnaire PHQ to help identify and manage stress, anxiety and depression.

NCC Bank Executive Vice President and Head of Sustainable and Women’s Banking Nighat Mumtaz moderated the workshop.

Participants described the initiative as timely and essential in addressing evolving workplace pressures, according to the bank.

NCC Bank said such programmes underline its commitment to employee wellbeing and mental health awareness across the organisation.
