Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack named Nahid Rana in its Pakistan Super League team of the season after the 2026 campaign. The fast bowler represented Peshawar Zalmi and impressed in a short spell.
Nahid played five matches and took nine wickets. He maintained an average close to 10 and kept his economy rate under control. He built impact through pace, short balls and yorkers that unsettled batters.
He joined the PSL after featuring in the Bangladesh versus New Zealand series in Dhaka. He played four matches before that break, returned for the final with permission, and continued to influence games.
Babar Azam leads the Wisden XI. Sahibzada Farhan partners him at the top, while Kusal Mendis takes the wicketkeeping role. The middle order includes Shan Masood and Usman Khan.
Shadab Khan and Aaron Hardie feature as all-rounders. The bowling unit includes Hunain Shah, Mohammad Ali, Sufiyan Muqeem and Nahid.
The selection highlights Nahid’s rapid rise. He delivered strong returns in limited opportunities and secured a place alongside established names in the league.
