Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) and The Structural Engineers Limited (SEL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide attractive home loan facilities for the latter’s clients.
The agreement was officially signed on 5 July, 2026, at the SEL Centre located at 29, West Panthapath in the capital. Under this arrangement, clients of The Structural Engineers Limited will be eligible for home loans from MTB at competitive interest rates, supported by faster loan processing services.
Md. Shafquat Hossain, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Division of Mutual Trust Bank PLC, and Engr. Mohammad Abdul Awal, Managing Director of The Structural Engineers Limited, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
The ceremony was attended by Tahsin Shahid, EVP and Head of Retail Business of MTB, and Arch. Mohammad Abdur Rahman, Additional Deputy Managing Director of The Structural Engineers Limited, along with other senior officials from both companies.
MTB, a third-generation private commercial bank based in Dhaka, was previously adjudged the Best Financial Institution of 2014 at the DHL-Daily Star Business Awards.
