Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, has inaugurated a theme park Beast Land in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Named “Beast Land,” the park features highly interactive attractions and challenges inspired directly by the YouTuber’s most popular videos.
Among the featured attractions are challenges such as Tower Siege, Battle Bridge, Beast Summit, Lights Out, Drop Zone, Air Mail, Maze Run, Revolution, and the Warrior Challenge. Opened on November 13, 2025, Beast Land serves as the main attraction of the Riyadh Season 2025 Festival, promoting tourism in the capital.
Running until December 27 this year, the park offers a full lineup of entertainment, ranging from live shows and music festivals to sporting events, as well as specialised culinary and fashion experiences, alongside performances from global artists. Guests can compete in multiple games to collect points, which qualify them for prizes. Daily cash rewards are given to the three highest scorers, while the overall highest scorer throughout the event wins the grand prize. What’s more, it offers the chance to meet the megastar MrBeast himself.
However, the facility has also sparked controversy around the world. Under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia is actively working to move away from its long-standing image as a strictly conservative Islamic state. While the Crown Prince aims to boost tourism for economic diversification beyond oil dependency, Western countries continue to criticise the Kingdom’s human rights record.
Nevertheless, far beyond simple entertainment, this highly anticipated launch plays a key role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan to transform the Kingdom into a major global tourist and leisure hub, set to bring in millions of tourists internationally.
For now, the competitive energy inside Beast Land provides a clear demonstration of the country’s ambition to reintroduce itself. Whether visitors remember the challenges or the country’s transformation, the park represents a new chapter where entertainment is used as both a global attraction and a diplomatic tool.
