Modhumoti Bank PLC has partnered with Gadget Shop to expand Bangla QR-based digital payments, enabling customers to make cashless transactions across the retailer’s outlets.
The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the bank’s head office in Gulshan on Tuesday, according to a press release.
Under the agreement, Modhumoti Bank will provide Bangla QR payment services at Gadget Shop outlets, allowing customers to make secure digital payments using the interoperable QR platform.
The agreement was signed by Modhumoti Bank Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Division Mohammed Noor E Alam and Gadget Shop Proprietor Hasibur Rahman on behalf of their respective organisations.
Modhumoti Bank Additional Managing Director Shahnawaj Chowdhury and Deputy Managing Director & Chief Business Officer Arab Fazlur Rahman attended the signing ceremony.
Senior officials from both organisations were also present.
