BNP Standing Committee Member and Political Adviser to the Prime Minister Mirza Abbas is gradually recovering, his wife Afroza Abbas confirmed on Tuesday.
Afroza Abbas reported that her husband’s health is improving steadily, and he is undergoing regular physiotherapy.
“His condition has improved significantly, and he is gradually showing positive progress,” she said, urging everyone to pray for his swift and complete recovery.
Mirza Abbas, who was admitted to Prince Court Medical Centre in Malaysia on 14 April for physiotherapy, had previously fallen seriously ill on 11 March, losing consciousness unexpectedly during iftar.
He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, where a team of neurology specialists performed urgent brain surgery.
After the surgery, he was airlifted to Singapore General Hospital on 15 March, where he spent a month in intensive care.
Following significant recovery, he was transferred to Malaysia for further treatment and rehabilitation on 14 April.
