Midland Bank PLC introduced a special financing facility for registered professionals, offering preferential interest and profit rates under both conventional loans and Islamic (Salam) financing.
The facility was launched at the bank’s 183rd board meeting on Thursday, with Chairman Ahsan Khan Chowdhury inaugurating the programme.
The event was attended by Directors Master Abul Kashem, AKM Badiul Alam, Hafizur Rahman Sarker, Shahnaj Parveen, Alhaj Mohammed Helal Miah, Md Kamal Hossain, Abdul Alim Mondol and Independent Director Riaz Ahmed Choudhury, along with Managing Director and CEO Imtiaz U Ahmed and Deputy Managing Director Md Nazmul Huda Sarkar.
The facility is available to registered professionals, including doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, chartered secretaries, architects, dentists, pharmacists and veterinarians, for purposes including purchasing a new car, building or buying a home, and meeting other personal financial needs.
Under the facility, eligible customers will receive special interest rates, faster loan processing, simplified documentation, dedicated relationship support and discounts on selected processing and service fees.
Bank officials said the initiative aims to provide easy, quick and affordable financing solutions for the country’s professionals while strengthening the bank’s retail loan portfolio.
