Top leaders of the Left Democratic Alliance including Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) met with BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Monday afternoon.
The meeting was held at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Dhaka’s Gulshan area.
The alliance leaders signed the condolence book and expressed sympathy over the death of former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Afterwards, they discussed with Tarique Rahman the overall situation in the country and the upcoming parliamentary election. They also shared their plans for the future during the discussion.
Among those present at the meeting from the Left Democratic Alliance and CPB were Mujahidul Islam Selim, Kazi Sajjad Zahir Chandan, Abdullah Kafi Ratan, Sharif Nurul Ambia, Nazmul Haque Pradhan, Mushtaq Hossain, Bazlur Rashid Firoz, Razequzzaman Ratan, Iqbal Kabir Zahid, Abdus Sattar, Masud Rana, Mosharrafa Mishu, and Abdul Ali.
