Every Ramadan, a range of Islamic songs and dramas are released on television and YouTube. This year, the production company Laser Vision has joined the trend with their Islamic drama ‘Sejda’, now available on YouTube.
The drama, written by Liza Mitu and directed by Zakiul Islam Ripon, was released on Thursday, March 5, in the afternoon.
The cast includes Khairul Bashar Sagar, Farhana Ahsan Mihi, Md. Shahin Mridha, Shampa Nizam, Saif, Faizul Kabir Rathi and several others in key roles. The background score has been composed by Ahmed Sabuj.
Speaking about the project, director Ripon said this is his first Islamic drama. “Previously, I have presented numerous dramas to audiences, often with a family-oriented message. Sejda also seeks to highlight some of the moral degradation in society. I hope viewers will appreciate the drama,” he added.
