National University (NU) and Russian House in Bangladesh have discussed cooperation in skills-based education, research and technical collaboration, opening new opportunities for students and teachers.
The discussion was held at a meeting between NU Vice-Chancellor (VC) ASM Amanullah and Russian House Director Alexandra Khlevnoy at the university’s Dhaka city office on Thursday.
Amanullah said international partnerships could create new opportunities for students and teachers, particularly in skills-based and technical education, said a press release on Friday.
“Russia can cooperate with us in higher education, especially in skills-based and technical education,” he said.
Khlevnoy expressed interest in engaging with NU’s education and research activities. She emphasised strengthening mutual cooperations in higher education to deepen educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
Both sides expressed optimism about identifying and implementing effective cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including expanding international networks in technical education and research, academic experience exchange, and creating new opportunities for students internationally.
Russian Embassy Cultural Programme Chief Prashant Kumar Barman, Senior Administrative Officer Delwar Hossain, National University International Desk Director Raj Bin Kasem, Communications Expert Gautam Barua and Multi-Language Learning Institute Coordinator Md Saiful Islam Shahin attended.
