Saif Ali Khan turned 56 on 16 August, and the actor’s birthday was marked by warm wishes from his family, friends and industry colleagues, states The Indian Express.
His wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, celebrated the occasion by sharing a collection of candid photographs from their holidays and family getaways over the years.
Calling Saif her “forever ride or die”, Kareena accompanied the post with a playful birthday message.

“Happy Birthday to my forever ride or die… how boring would life be without you,” she wrote, adding that all the photographs in the post had been approved by Saif, who apparently enjoys seeing his pictures shared on Instagram.
The album also featured glimpses of the couple with their sons, Taimur and Jehangir Ali Khan.
Saif’s sister Saba Pataudi wished her brother in the comments section, writing, “Happiest Birthday Bhai!! Have a awesome one. Lots of love ❤️”.
Kareena’s close friend Amrita Arora also sent her wishes, writing, “Saifuuuuuuuuuu ❤️❤️”, while filmmaker Zoya Akhtar added, “❤️❤️ Happy Birthday Saif ❤️❤️.”
Karisma Kapoor joined the celebrations with a sweet “Saifuuu happy birthday 🎂💛✨”, while Malaika Arora wrote, “Happy birthday Saifu ❤️❤️.” Producer Rhea Kapoor also shared her affection for the actor, writing, “happy birthday saif we love you ❤️❤️❤️.”
Saif’s sister and actor Soha Ali Khan shared perhaps the most personal tribute.
Alongside a series of family photographs, she described him as someone who can make difficult moments feel lighter and bring laughter to those around him.
“There really is no one like you, Bhai,” Soha wrote, recalling his sense of humour and his habit of wearing two pairs of glasses and two watches.
She also thanked him for always being supportive of the family.
Saif and Kareena married in an intimate ceremony in October 2012 after dating for several years.
They welcomed their first son, Taimur, in December 2016 and their second son, Jeh, in February 2021.
On the professional front, Saif is gearing up for Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan.
The action film marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar nearly 18 years after Tashan. Boman Irani, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Saiyami Kher are also part of the cast.
Meanwhile, Kareena is set to headline Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming crime thriller Daayra, in which she will share the screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran for the first time.
