Tollywood actor Kanchan Mallick and actress Sreemoyee Chattoraj have welcomed a new member to their family.
Nineteen months after the birth of their daughter, Krishvi, the couple has now been blessed with a baby boy.
The joyous news was shared on Saturday (25 July), bringing celebrations to the Mallick-Chattoraj family. Keeping in tune with their daughter’s name, the couple have named their newborn son Krishiv.
Kanchan Mallick and Sreemoyee Chattoraj tied the knot through legal and traditional ceremonies in early 2024.
Their relationship drew considerable attention on social media because of their nearly 27-year age gap, with the couple facing criticism and online trolling in the early days.
Despite the backlash, they stood by each other and continued their journey together.
In November 2024, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Krishvi.
Since then, the couple have frequently shared glimpses of their family life centred around their little girl.
Now, less than two years later, the family has grown again with the arrival of baby Krishiv, making Krishvi a proud elder sister.
The newborn is Sreemoyee Chattoraj’s second child, while it is Kanchan Mallick’s third.
Following the announcement, fans, well-wishers and members of the Tollywood film industry flooded social media with congratulatory messages, wishing the newborn good health and a bright future.
