The body of content creator Kaarina Kaisar, who died while undergoing treatment in Chennai, India, has been returned to Bangladesh, with family members receiving it at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Sunday (17 May) at around 5:00 pm.
According to family sources, the body was formally handed over to relatives upon arrival. Plans have since been arranged for a series of funeral prayers in the capital before her burial in Munshiganj.
Following the airport handover, the body is expected to be taken to her residence in Banani. The first funeral prayer is scheduled to take place at a mosque in Banani DOHS after Maghrib prayers.
A second funeral prayer is set to be held at Banani Darbar Sharif Mosque at around 8pm the same evening. A third funeral prayer is also planned at the Central Shaheed Minar at approximately 10:00 pm.
After the final prayer in Dhaka, her body will be transported to her ancestral village in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj. There, another prayer will be held before she is laid to rest in the family graveyard.
