Justice SM Moniruzzaman of the High Court Division, who was sent on leave following the July mass uprising, has been reinstated to judicial duties.
He will lead a dual bench and conduct judicial proceedings starting from Sunday. Justice Dihider Kabir Masum will serve alongside him on the bench. This information was disclosed in the newly formed bench list of the High Court Division published on Thursday.
Justice Moniruzzaman was one of 12 High Court judges who were kept away from benches since 16 October 2024, following student-public demands and allegations of corruption and other charges.
According to sources, no truth was found in the allegations brought against Justice SM Moniruzzaman.
