A shirt worn by BTS member Jimin during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show has sold for $110,000 at a charity auction, matching the event’s highest bid and leading a strong showing by BTS memorabilia.

According to The Korea Times, Christie’s online charity auction, One Goal: An Auction to Benefit the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, concluded on Wednesday after running for seven days. The sale raised $652,630 from bidders across 24 countries.

The seven outfits worn by BTS members during their performance of “Dynamite” at the World Cup final halftime show generated a combined $300,300, accounting for 46 per cent of the auction’s total proceeds.

Jimin’s shirt, designed by Agro Studio, attracted the joint-highest winning bid of $110,000. The official match ball from the 2026 FIFA World Cup final sold for the same amount.

Other BTS items also far exceeded Christie’s pre-auction estimates of $1,000 to $5,000 each. V’s scarf sold for $46,200, Jungkook’s jacket also fetched $46,200, Suga’s trousers brought $33,000, J-Hope’s gloves sold for $28,600, RM’s boots fetched $19,800, and Jin’s belt realised $16,500.

Elsewhere in the auction, an Argentina national team jersey signed by Lionel Messi and gifted to Latin pop star Shakira sold for $66,000. A pair of fingerless gloves signed and worn by Madonna during the opening of the World Cup halftime show fetched $41,800, while Justin Bieber’s autographed Skylrk trainers, worn during an acoustic performance of “Everything Hallelujah” (2025) at the halftime show, sold for $26,400.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which supports education initiatives and expands access to football for children in underserved communities.
