Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar, has stated that the party is fully prepared to field candidates for all 300 seats in the upcoming national elections.
He also called on every Jamaat activist to actively participate in the electoral campaign with full focus.
Golam Parwar made these remarks on Friday morning at the members’ reunion (1977-2025) event, organised by the Khulna City branch of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, held at the Al Faruk Society Hall in Khulna.
He said, “Now is the right time to send representatives of religion to parliament. Those who were once involved in student politics must become more active and seize this opportunity.”
The event, held under the slogan “Shompritir Tane Shikorer Pane” featured Nurul Islam Saddam, the Secretary General of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, as the keynote speaker.
The event was chaired by Arafat Hossain Milan, President of Khulna City Chhatra Shibir, and conducted by Secretary Rakib Hossain. Other speakers included Maulana Emran Hossain, Ameer of Khulna District Jamaat, Advocate Jahangir Hussain Helal, Secretary of Khulna City Jamaat, and Advocate Ataur Rahman Bachchu, Ameer of Narail District Jamaat.
