Jennifer Lopez has landed in Udaipur ahead of her performance at the lavish wedding of US billionaire Padmaja and Rama Raju Mantena’s daughter, Netra Mantena, who is marrying Vamsi Gadiraju. The high-profile celebrations have already become a major talking point, featuring appearances and performances from a host of Bollywood and international stars.
A paparazzo shared footage of Lopez arriving at Udaipur airport, where she was seen waving to photographers and sending them a flying kiss. In a humorous moment, members of the paparazzi appeared to confuse her with Rihanna, calling out, “Welcome to India, Rihanna ma’am!” Lopez, dressed in a long brown fur coat, sunglasses and black heels, proceeded quickly to her car without stopping for photos.
This is not Lopez’s first performance at a luxury Indian wedding. She previously sang at the Udaipur ceremony of UK-based tycoon Sanjay Hinduja and Anu Mahtani, the sister of designer Nandita Mahtani, an event that gained widespread attention when clips of her performance circulated on social media.
Alongside Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber is also reportedly set to perform at the celebrations. Mantena’s ‘sangeet’ ceremony at The Leela Palace saw a star-studded line-up take the stage, including Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez. Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto was also spotted entertaining guests with his set.
