Popular OTT platform iScreen has announced a special content lineup for Eid-ul-Azha, bringing several widely discussed Bangladeshi films to viewers during the holiday season.
The platform has already revealed a slate of six films, with the biggest attraction being Shakib Khan’s industry-hit film ‘Borbaad,’ which is set to premiere on iScreen on June 7.
On May 27, iScreen will release ‘Rakhosh,’ starring Siam Ahmed and directed by Mehdi Hasan Hridoy, the filmmaker behind ‘Borbaad.’ The film drew significant audience attention after its theatrical release during Eid-ul-Fitr.
iScreen’s original web film ‘Sarar Songsar’ was released on May 26. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Aka Reza Galib and based on a novel by Kazi Anwar Hossain, the female-centric film stars dancer-actress Sadia Islam Mou in the lead role.
The Eid lineup also includes Siam Ahmed’s ‘Shan’ and ‘Jongli,’ alongside Abu Shahed Emon’s internationally screened film ‘Payer Tolay Mati Nai.’
According to the announced schedule, ‘Shan’ will stream on May 28, followed by ‘Jongli’ on May 29, ‘Payer Tolay Mati Nai’ on May 30, and ‘Borbaad’ on June 7.
