Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas has sparked a discussion on social media by asking her followers whether it is permissible for a Muslim to get a tattoo. The actress shared a post asking, “Abraham wants to get a tattoo. Is it right as a Muslim? Please comment.”
Fans quickly responded in the comments. One wrote, “Tattoos are prohibited in Islam. It is better not to get them done.” Another added, “A Muslim heroine has a tattoo on her hand, but Abraham should not get one. This is not in Islam.”
Apu Biswas has not commented further or clarified whether her question referred to anyone in particular.
The actress is currently busy with two new films, ‘Secret’ and ‘Durbar’. She stars opposite young hero Adar Azad in Secret and actor Sajal in Durbar.
