Intex Bangladesh 2026 comes as Bangladesh’s readymade garment sector eyes a deeper role in the global textile value chain, with the exhibition bringing together manufacturers, suppliers and buyers amid a shift toward man-made fibres, performance textiles, recycled materials and traceable supply chains.
Scheduled for 18–20 June 2026 at the International Convention City Bashundhara, the exhibition will feature participants from more than 12 countries and regions, including India, China, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Thailand, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Uzbekistan, alongside Bangladeshi stakeholders.
The exhibition will showcase fibres, yarns, fabrics, trims, accessories, dyes, chemicals and compliance services, reflecting evolving sourcing needs in the readymade garment sector as global buyers adjust procurement strategies.
Country pavilions are expected to be a central feature.
Export Promotion Council for Cotton Textiles India, Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council and Powerloom Development and Export Promotion Council-backed Incredible Textiles of India pavilion will host more than 75 companies.
China National Textile and Apparel Council-supported China Fashion Textiles pavilion will feature over 70 companies presenting man-made fibre innovations, advanced fabrics, sustainable materials and garment accessories.
Buyers from more than 20 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Argentina, India, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates, are expected to attend sourcing meetings and business discussions.
The event will also host the Interactive Business Forum seminar series in association with Fashion Business Journal, focusing on sustainability, supply chain resilience, traceability and emerging apparel sourcing trends.
A structured business-to-business matchmaking platform will facilitate targeted meetings between buyers and suppliers for commercial partnerships and sourcing agreements.
TextileGenesis Head of Marketing Anja Neumann will participate as official traceability partner, highlighting digital supply chain transparency and compliance systems increasingly required in global sourcing.
Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association President Mohammad Hatem said Intex Bangladesh continues to serve as an important platform connecting global textile suppliers with Bangladesh’s apparel industry, adding that such initiatives strengthen sourcing capacity, encourage innovation and create collaboration opportunities across the value chain.
Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association President Md Abdul Hamid said platforms like Intex Bangladesh play a vital role in connecting international suppliers, buyers and manufacturers, adding that the association supports the initiative and wishes the 2026 edition success.
Organisers said the platform has facilitated thousands of cross-border business meetings across South Asia and aims to further expand Bangladesh’s integration into global textile sourcing networks through the 2026 edition.
