Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Pranay Verma, has paid a courtesy call on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
The meeting took place on Saturday afternoon at the BNP chairman’s office in Gulshan, Dhaka. This information was shared on BNP’s verified Facebook page.
At that time, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed were present.
Earlier on the same day, the BNP chairman also held a courtesy meeting with the European Parliament member and Chief Observer of the European Union (EU) Election Observation Mission, Ivars Ījabs.
Incidentally, on Friday, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Dhaka, Imran Haider, also met with Tarique Rahman.
