IFIC Bank PLC launched Islamic Banking Service Desks and unveiled a new logo to expand its Shariah-based banking services across the country.
The bank simultaneously inaugurated five Islamic Banking Windows and service desks to ensure faster and more accessible services, it said in a press release on Monday.
IFIC Bank Chairman Md Mehmood Husain unveiled the logo and announced the slogan “Purity and blessings in harmony” at a ceremony held on Monday at IFIC Tower in Dhaka.
He also inaugurated the operations of the Islamic Banking Service Desks across branches and uposhakhas.
Managing Director Syed Mansur Mustafa, along with deputy managing directors, heads of divisions and departments, and senior officials attended the event.
Mansur Mustafa said the initiative reflects the bank’s commitment to expanding Islamic banking services and introducing new products.
“The logo, slogan and service desks have been launched as part of our commitment to expanding Islamic Banking services,” he said, adding that more innovative and demand-driven products will be introduced.
Mehmood Husain said the sector shows strong growth potential and highlighted the role of young people.
“The demand and growth of Islamic Banking in Bangladesh are highly promising,” he said, adding that the youth will drive expansion through the bank’s network and that the focus will remain on building skills and ensuring quality services.
The ceremony ended with a vote of thanks by IFIC Head of Islamic Banking Division Mohammad Zamal Uddin.
