Banglalink has recently won two honours at the ESG Excellence Awards 2026, receiving recognition in the External Supply Chain Collaboration and Partnerships and Excellence in ESG Technology and Digital Innovation categories for its self-retailer app, Banglalink Power.
The awards were presented at a ceremony at Lakeshore Hotel in Dhaka, jointly organised by the ESG Institute Bangladesh and the Global Compact Network Bangladesh, said a press release on Monday.
Launched in November 2025, Banglalink Power enables users to earn additional income by selling mobile recharges through their smartphones without any upfront investment. The platform uses digital KYC verification, real-time commission tracking and a digital reward ecosystem to streamline sales and earnings management.
The platform focuses particularly on youth, women and micro-entrepreneurs, enabling them to establish flexible earning channels without physical storefronts.
Banglalink Sales Director Muhammad Mehedi Hasan said the platform creates a flexible and scalable earning opportunity without the need for any infrastructure or capital.
Banglalink has partnered with organisations including Winrock International and Romoni to reach individuals with limited access to formal economic channels.
Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer Taimur Rahman said digital transformation becomes meaningful when it creates opportunities people can directly benefit from.
