IDLC Finance PLC, in collaboration with Adda Chole, concluded IDLC Purnota Utshob 2026 at Aloki in Dhaka, bringing together over a hundred women entrepreneurs from diverse business sectors along with domestic brands, customers and visitors.
Held on Friday and Saturday, the exhibition featured businesses across clothing, jewellery, home décor, leather goods, skincare and makeup, said a press release on Sunday.
Participating entrepreneurs received practical support. Each was assigned a dedicated Women Relationship Manager for personalised guidance and received free Business Identification Number (BIN) creation support, with the associated cost borne by IDLC. They also received access to loan facilities under Bangladesh Bank’s refinancing scheme, subject to applicable eligibility and terms.
The formal inauguration was attended by Australian High Commission in Dhaka First Secretary (Political) Harry Thompson; Bangladesh Bank SMESPD Additional Director Mahbubur Rahman; SME Foundation Deputy Managing Director Nazeem Satter; IFC Regional Lead (Asia-Pacific), MSME, Micro and Embedded Finance, Ananya Wahid Kader; and IDLC Finance PLC Managing Director and CEO M Jamal Uddin.

IDLC Finance MD and CEO M Jamal Uddin said, “Over the years, our specialised SME product Purnota has established itself as a platform through which we can connect with women entrepreneurs, understand their unique challenges and create opportunities accordingly for them to thrive.”
IDLC Finance Head of SME Adnan Rashid said, “Purnota Utshob has given many homegrown small and medium entrepreneurs an opportunity to build relationships with customers and other businesses.”
A dedicated Kids Zone was set up at the venue.
