The grand finale of the ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Contest 2025 was held on Saturday at the permanent campus of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), concluding amid a festive atmosphere and intense intellectual competition.
The five-hour contest began at 11am, with 939 programmers from 313 teams across the country competing to solve complex algorithmic problems. The competition took place at the BUBT International Conference Hall and designated laboratories.

A prize-giving and closing ceremony was held in the afternoon, where championship trophies and awards were presented to the winning teams.
Speaking at the ceremony, BUBT Vice Chancellor Prof Dr A B M Shawkat Ali said BUBT was proud to have successfully hosted a world-class competition and expressed confidence that the winners would represent Bangladesh with distinction on the global stage.

Speakers at the event praised the enthusiasm and determination of young participants in advancing the country’s technology sector.
Therap (BD) Ltd served as the gold sponsor of this year’s contest, which was organised in collaboration with the Bangladesh Computer Council and the ICT Division Bangladesh.
This year’s contest saw record participation, and based on the final standings, the top teams will have the opportunity to represent Bangladesh at the upcoming ICPC World Finals.
