Election Commission (EC) has introduced four simple methods for voters to obtain their voter number and polling station information ahead of the 12 February national election and referendum.

According to an official handout, these methods will allow voters to quickly and accurately access their voter number and polling station details.

Smart Election Management BD App

Voters can download the Smart Election Management BD app from the Play Store or App Store. After installation, they should select the “Find Polling Station” option. By entering their NID number and date of birth, the app will display the voter number, serial number in the voter list, polling station name, and address.

Hotline Number 105

Related News

Any voter in Bangladesh can call 105 to obtain their voter number and polling station information. After dialing, they must press 9 to speak with an operator. Voters will need to provide their NID number and date of birth. The service is available daily from 6am to 12 midnight.

SMS to 105

Voters can also get their voter number and polling station details via SMS. To do this, they should type PC [space] NID in the message option on their mobile phone and send it to 105. The information will be sent back via return SMS.

Election Commission Website

Voters may visit the Election Commission’s website at ecs.gov.bd using any browser to obtain their voter number and polling station information.
