Mostafizur Rahman Manik’s ‘Shopne Dekha Rajkonna’ received censor clearance four years ago and is set to release nationwide on September 26, coinciding with the Durga Puja festivities.
At a time when cinema halls are facing a shortage of new releases, the film has already generated strong interest among hall owners and booking agents.
So far, the film has been booked in 27 theaters across the country. Hall booking agent Ranjan Dey said, “We are releasing the film on the occasion of Puja. So far, 27 halls have been confirmed. Hall owners are showing keen interest and we expect the number to increase further.”
Director Mostafizur Rahman Manik expressed his confidence, saying, “We have made a story-driven film. I believe audiences will enjoy watching it in theaters.”
The film stars Adar Azad and Nishat Nawar Salwa in lead roles, with a screenplay and dialogues by Sudipto Saeed Khan. Lyrics are penned by Sudeep Kumar Deep, while Shahriar Rafat has arranged the music. The supporting cast includes Aliraj, Maruf Aqib, Rebecca, Chikon Ali and others.
