After the success of Eta Amaderi Golpo, director Mohammad Mostofa Kamal Raj is returning with a new drama series, Fire Ashar Golpo. The series begins on 7 October, exploring relationships, emotions and the struggles of everyday life.
The series will air every Wednesday and Thursday at noon on the Cinemawala YouTube channel and Channel I. Raj recently unveiled the release date after keeping much of the project under wraps. Its poster carries the line, “Jekhane Shomporkoi Boro Shokti”, pointing to the importance of relationships in the story.
The series marks the return of actress Sumaiya Shimu to the small screen after a long break. She stars alongside Zahid Hasan, Khairul Basar, Tanzim Sayara Totini, Deepa Khandaker and Tashrif Farhan. Production details also mention Tashrif Tehjib.
Zahid Hasan plays Osman, while Khairul Basar takes on the role of Adil. Basar said he is hopeful about the character and believes the family drama will allow viewers to see reflections of their own lives. The story also explores relationship tensions and various twists.
Raj’s previous series, Eta Amaderi Golpo, drew a strong response from viewers. His latest project again focuses on relationships and the complexities of life.
Sumaiya Shimu’s return has already generated interest, particularly her screen pairing with Totini. Presented by Glow & Lovely Bangladesh, Fire Ashar Golpo will be available every Wednesday and Thursday at noon on Cinemawala’s YouTube channel and Channel I.
